Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking a Head Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations and lead a small team including a Commis Chef and Kitchen Porter. You will ensure high quality meals in line with OpEx standards, manage budgets, and drive seasonal menu cycles.

You will have NVQ Level 3 Catering, Level 3 Food Safety, COSHH training, and at least 3 years’ Head Chef experience, plus IT literacy and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Catering or equivalent qualification.
• Level 3 Food Safety certification.
• COSHH training completed.
• At least 3 years’ experience at Head Chef level.
• Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Fully manage kitchen operations and OpX menu planning/stock management.
• Budget planning to meet revenue and GP KPI targets.
• Plan seasonal menu cycles and production requirements.
• Weekly ordering and waste control within targets.
• Manage deliveries and temperature checks.
• Handle Opening and Closing checks for the kitchen.
• Support managerial admin tasks as required.
