Job summary

Aramark UK at Dale Barracks, Chester, is seeking a Chef Manager to lead a catering operation serving military personnel, reservists, students and visitors. You will own the kitchen, drive food production, menus, service, stock control and ordering, while managing a team across three kitchens.

You will oversee up to 150 covers per service, ensure Health & Safety compliance, and drive financial performance. DBS checks and Security Vetting are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Culinary (or equivalent)
• Food Hygiene certification
• Strong numeracy and knowledge of H&S legislation
• Confidence in the kitchen and passion for great food
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills
• Creativity and flexibility in the kitchen

Responsibilities

• Lead food production, menu delivery, service, stock control and ordering
