Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking a Chef to join the team at Baker Barracks, Emsworth. You will manage production and cooking for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including special events, with a focus on reducing waste and training new team members.

The role requires a culinary qualification, team spirit, flexibility, and the ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks. UK residency for 3 years and own transport are required; shift work covers early and late rounds.

Qualifications

• Holds a relevant culinary qualification (NVQ Level 1/Level 2 or equivalent).
• UK resident with the right to work and able to pass DBS checks.
• Strong team player with flexibility and a creative approach.
• Experience in catering and kitchen operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, including special events.
• Follow recipes and uphold all policies and procedures.
• Mentor new colleagues and support learning in the team.
• Manage stock, place orders, and keep kitchen records up to date.
