Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking a Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. You’ll drive standards, manage food quality and hygiene, and play a key role in the pub management team to create memorable guest experiences.

You’ll grow and retain a motivated kitchen crew across our pubs, with opportunities to progress through internal career pathways and access app-based training and benefits. Come as you are—Marston’s values people and rewards performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Kitchen Manager/Head Chef role or readiness to step up from Sous/Second Chef.
• Ensure all food and hygiene standards are consistently met.
• Maintain clear communication with your kitchen and wider pub team.
• Take pride in the meals that you and your team produce.
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to create a buzz in your kitchen.
• Achieve the highest standards, ensuring the business is safe and that food quality and speed of service targets are met.
• Grow, develop and retain a motivated kitchen team in our pubs across the country.
