Job summary

Marston's PLC is seeking a Head Chef to lead our kitchen team across our pubs. You will raise the bar, set the standards, and play a key part in the pub management team to create memorable guest experiences.

You’ll grow and retain a motivated kitchen team, with opportunities to progress across our pub, hotels, and support centre. Flexible and part-time hours may be available, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Kitchen Manager/ Head Chef role or readiness to step up from Sous/ Second Chef position.
• Ensure all food and hygiene standards are consistently met.
• Maintain clear communication with your kitchen and wider pub team.
• Ability to create a buzz in your kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen to achieve top food quality and hygiene standards.
• Set and maintain high standards for service speed and guest experience.
• Motivate and develop the kitchen team to reach targets and grow.
• Communicate effectively with the pub management team and front-of-house.
• Proudly oversee meals produced by you and your team.
