Job summary

Marston's PLC is seeking a Head Chef to lead and develop a motivated kitchen team across our pubs. You’ll drive food quality, hygiene and service standards while nurturing a positive, high-energy kitchen culture.

You will work within a pub management team, with opportunities across a network of sites and a Chef Development Programme to advance your career. A flexible, supportive role with progression paths and employee discounts is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as Head Chef or Kitchen Manager or readiness to step up from Sous/Second Chef position.
• Proven ability to lead a kitchen team and maintain food hygiene standards.
• Excellent communication and ability to motivate and energise the team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food and hygiene standards are consistently met.
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to create a buzz in your kitchen.
• Achieve the highest standards, ensuring the business is safe and that food quality and speed of service targets are met.
• Maintain clear communication with your kitchen and wider pub team.
