Job summary

Marston’s PLC in the UK is seeking a Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in one of our pubs. You’ll drive consistency in food quality and hygiene, and inspire a motivated crew across shifts.

You’ll raise the bar on dining experiences, collaborate with pub management, and help develop talent while meeting service targets and safety standards. A rewarding path within our national pub network awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Kitchen Manager/Head Chef role or ready to step up from Sous/Second Chef.
• Ensure all food and hygiene standards are consistently met.
• Positive attitude with ability to create a buzz in the kitchen.
• Maintain high standards, ensuring safety, quality and service targets are met.
• Clear communication with the kitchen and wider pub team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver consistent quality.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and stock control across the kitchen.
• Drive speed of service while upholding high standards of taste and presentation.
