Job summary

St Austell Brewery is seeking a Head Chef to lead our West Cornwall kitchen at one of our beautiful pub destinations. You’ll manage Front of House and Back of House teams, ensure high quality, locally sourced dishes and maintain robust kitchen standards.

You’ll collaborate on budgets and sales targets, mentor staff, and drive consistent, ambitious food offering while delivering memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a head chef or senior kitchen role in a busy pub environment.
• Experience leading Front of House and Back of House teams.
• Strong budgeting and cost-control skills with a focus on quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Kitchen and Back of House team to deliver high-quality, locally sourced dishes.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations and maintain highest standards of food safety and consistency.
