Job summary

St Austell Brewery is seeking a Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at one of West Cornwall’s premier destinations. You’ll oversee a quality food offering, sourcing locally and driving guest experiences with passion.

You will manage daily operations, guide a team of chefs, and work within budgets to help achieve targets while delivering exceptional standards for our guests.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a kitchen team and maintain high standards of food quality.
• Strong organisational skills and adaptability in a busy environment.
• Experience with budgeting, cost control and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead front of house and back of house teams with pride and direction.
• Ensure a consistent, high quality food offering across all service periods.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, stock control and food safety compliance.
• Collaborate on menu development and supplier relationships to support local sourcing.
