Job summary

Grantley Hall seeks an exceptional Bar professional to lead, train and mentor the team while delivering drinks at the highest standards. You will manage stock, develop cocktails, and ensure impeccable cleanliness and guest service in a luxury setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with a dynamic, warm presence at our Bar, preparing drinks and cocktails to the highest standards
• Mentor, train and support the development of the bar team
• Oversee and maintain exceptional cleaning and hygiene standards across the bar area
• Take ownership of stock ordering, inventory control, and stock rotation with the Bar Manager
• Manage the preparation of cocktail pre-batches for busy periods
• Play a leading role in drink and cocktail menu development, with creativity and seasonal luxury standards
• Deliver efficient service of drinks, providing a professional and memorable guest experience
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the beverage offering and be a key contact for product queries
• Meticulously prepare drinks; measure, follow recipes and present elegantly
• Upsell products and encourage the team to do the same
• Engage warmly with guests, contributing to the five-star Grantley Hall experience
• Proven leadership experience in high-end hospitality or bar settings
• Hands-on approach, leading by example and continual improvement
• Passion for hospitality and memorable guest experiences

• Consistently provide the highest standards of service, drinks preparation, and bar organisation, always seeking to exceed our guests' expectations
• Lead by example with a dynamic, warm and friendly presence at our Bar, preparing drinks and cocktails to the highest standards
