Job summary

A leading FM service provider in Greater London is seeking an experienced FM Contract Manager to oversee Hard Services delivery across sites in Chelsea and Sutton. The ideal candidate will have an electrical background with experience in multi-site facilities management, particularly in pharmaceutical environments. This role offers a salary of £67k plus an Electric Vehicle allowance.

Overview

FM Contract Manager – Chelsea and Sutton – Hard FM – £67k plus EV car/allowance

You will be responsible for the Hard Services delivery across two sites in Chelsea and Sutton for a client that is a world leader in research, drug discovery, genetics and radiotherapy.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the Hard Services delivery across two sites (laboratories, clean rooms, offices and plant rooms) including autoclaves, medical gas and fume cupboards.
  • Lead a team of around 20 staff including supervisors, engineers and administration support; responsible for reactive and planned maintenance as well as all electrical testing across the two sites.
  • Provide electrical bias in management focus and ensure compliance with requirements relevant to a pharmaceutical, cleanroom, healthcare or critical environment.
  • Manage a fixed P&L of £2.5m per year and nearly £1m variable; work to optimise performance and service delivery.
  • Engage with the client, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure service level agreements and quality standards are met.
Contract and environment
  • The contract is 9 years old and was successfully re-tendered last year for another 3+2.
  • Sites include laboratories, clean rooms, offices and plant rooms with autoclaves, medical gas and fume cupboards.
