Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Southern is seeking a Handyperson/Multi-Trader to work on site in Winchester on a temporary, full-time basis. Immediate start with ongoing duration. Tasks include metal track and stud installations, dry lining, and carpentry work under supervision.

The ideal candidate holds a CSCS card, has 2+ years in general building, and demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• CSCS card is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in general building.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist under supervision of Project Manager / Site Manager.
• Install metal track and metal stud with a concrete board finish.
• Possibly dry lining plasterboard and carpentry tasks.
• Check drawings and set out works.
• Return snag sheets daily to show completed work.

Responsibilities

• Working under the supervision and management of the Project Manager, Site Manager.
• Receiving job lists including but not limited to installing metal track, metal stud with a concrete board finish.
• Potentially Dry lining the plasterboard as well as carpentry items
• Checking drawings and setting out works to be completed.
• Handing back snag sheets each day to show works completed.

About you

• You will need a current and valid CSCS card.
• Own a selection of hand tools and power tools.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• A minimum of 2 years+ experience within the General Building space.
