Job summary

Fawkes & Reece in Basingstoke is seeking a Handyperson / Multi-Trader for ongoing temporary full-time work on a live construction project. You will work under the Project Manager and Site Manager, installing metal track and metal stud with a concrete board finish, potentially dry lining plasterboard and carrying carpentry tasks.

Applicants must hold a current CSCS card, own hand and power tools, and have strong written and verbal communication skills to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Current and valid CSCS card required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in general building.
• Own a selection of hand and power tools.
• Good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of the Project Manager and Site Manager.
• Receive job lists including but not limited to installing metal track, metal stud with a concrete board finish.
• Potentially dry lining the plasterboard as well as carpentry items.
• Checking drawings and setting out works to be completed.
• Handing back snag sheets each day to show works completed.

The role
