Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Southern in Thatcham, England, is seeking a Handyperson/Multi-Trader for an ongoing temporary role. You will work under the supervision of the Project Manager and Site Manager, handling tasks such as installing metal track and metal stud with a concrete board finish, with potential plasterboard dry lining and carpentry work.

Qualifications

• You MUST have a current and valid CSCS card.
• Minimum of 2 years+ experience within the General Building space.

Responsibilities

• Install metal track and metal stud with a concrete board finish.
• Potentially dry lining plasterboard and carry carpentry tasks.
• Check drawings and set out works to be completed.
• Hand back snag sheets daily to show works completed.

Salary: GBP20 - GBP21 per hour

Do you currently work in Construction? Are you a Handyperson currently looking for work? Do you hold a valid CSCS card? If the answers are yes, we have roles opening with a reputable construction company in Thatcham.

• Role: Handyperson/Multi-Trader
• Location: Thatcham
• Contract type: Temporary (Full time)
• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: Ongoing

The role:

• Working under the supervision and management of the Project Manager, Site Manager.
• Receiving job lists including but not limited to installing metal track, metal stud with a concrete board finish.
• Potentially Dry lining the plasterboard as well as carpentry items
• Checking drawings and setting out works to be completed.
• Handing back snag sheets each day to show works completed.

About you:

• You will need a current and valid CSCS card.
• Own a selection of hand tools and power tools.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
