Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager at the Swindon distribution centre. You will lead from the front, directing Team Leaders and Operatives to deliver exceptional service for a major UK retailer, while driving safety, efficiency and on-time performance.

This full-time role offers 40 hours weekly on rotating days/afternoons (06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00). The package includes a salary up to £34,333 plus 25 days leave, pension, private medical, dental, and additional benefits

Qualifications

Experience leading warehouse teams in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Strong organisational and people management skills.
Proven ability to drive productivity while maintaining safety and compliance.
Proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day warehouse operations to meet service, productivity and compliance targets.
Develop and support Team Leaders and Operatives to foster a high-performing culture.
Maintain high standards of health and safety across the area of responsibility.
Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure effective shift handovers and clear communication across departments.
