Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager for our Dunelm site in Stoke. You will lead and develop a warehouse team, driving continuous improvement and a team-based culture to meet business goals.

The role is full-time with an 'any 5 from 7' day pattern, 14:00–22:00 hours. Benefits include extensive leave, private healthcare, a dental plan, a pension, and GXO University learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a team leader/first line manager within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to lead, develop and manage a team, while identifying areas for development and recognising success.
• Adaptability when working in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent people skills and pride in a skilled workforce.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the day to day running of the warehouse in your area, you’ll lead, motivate and develop your team to achieve targets.
• Pro-actively support the site and customer’s continuous improvement initiatives, acting as an advocate on site for cultural change.
• With good understanding of Health & Safety you’ll ensure all processes are compliant and risks are identified and escalated.
• Effectively communicate with all stakeholders to understand customer and company requirements and incorporate them into planning and reporting.
