Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager for our Branston operation. You will lead a hands-on team to meet performance targets, ensure high levels of customer service, and uphold safety standards in a rotating shift pattern.

The role is full-time, with Monday to Friday hours and 40-hour weeks. You will manage performance and engage colleagues while partnering with the Shift Operations Manager to deliver site objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in fast-paced warehouse/logistics environments.
• Strong people management skills with coaching and engagement capabilities.
• Solid understanding of Health & Safety best practice and KPI-driven performance.

Warehouse First Line Manager (rotating shifts)

Are you an experienced warehouse leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment? Do you enjoy developing teams, driving performance and creating a culture where safety, service and engagement go hand in hand? If you're a hands-on people manager who leads from the front, we'd love to hear from you.

Here at GXO Logistics, we're looking for a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our B&Q operation in Branston. You'll play a key role in leading your team to deliver operational excellence, ensuring customer service levels, productivity and safety standards are consistently achieved while supporting the continued growth and development of your colleagues.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The house of work will rotate weekly between 06:00-14:30 and 14:00-22:30.

Pay, benefits and more:

You’ll be paid a salary of £34,361 per annum. What you’ll do on a typical day:

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Previous leadership experience within a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment
• Strong people management skills, with experience coaching, developing and engaging teams
• Good understanding of warehouse KPIs, operational performance and Health & Safety best practice
• Experience working with warehouse systems and Microsoft Office packages, including Excel
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and lead by example
