Gravity Recruit is assisting a busy restaurant in Bristol to recruit a Sous Chef. The role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced kitchen, mentoring wok, lines and salad chefs, and ensuring strong food safety compliance.

The position offers an annual salary up to £41,300 (base £34,700 plus tron) with additional perks and career development opportunities within a growing national business.

Qualifications

• Hands-on approach to cooking fresh, vibrant and flavoursome dishes.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations.
• Experience as second in command and mentoring kitchen staff such as wok, lines and salad chefs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef with managerial duties and mentor kitchen staff.
• Maintain high standards of food production in a fast-paced environment.
