Job summary

Nestlé Tutbury Factory in Derbyshire is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician. You will maintain and develop equipment and systems on the production floor, ensuring product quality and cost efficiency while supporting shift leaders and operations teams.

The role offers a mixed 12-hour shift pattern (3 on, 3 off, days and nights), inclusive of shift allowances and overtime, with a strong focus on personal development and a generous pension contribution.

Qualifications

• Qualified to NVQ level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent time-served apprenticeship.
• Experience on clarifiers, pumps and valves is advantageous.
• Ability to deliver compliance in safety, quality, cost and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Engineering and Shift Management Teams.
• Carry out breakdown maintenance and problem solving on shift.
• Drive breakdown analysis to improve asset intensity.
• Complete planned and preventive maintenance activities aligned with KPIs.
• Support AMM strategy by improving maintenance plans.
