Job summary

Nestlé Tutbury Factory in Staffordshire is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to maintain and develop equipment and systems on shift. The role reports to the Manufacturing Asset Maintenance Manager and supports production output, product quality and cost effectiveness on a 12‑hour shift pattern (days/nights).

The factory is a centre of excellence for Nescafé products with a strong focus on innovation, equipment reliability, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing maintenance and automation within a factory environment.
• Strong fault-finding skills and ability to drive maintenance improvements.
• Ability to support shift teams and ensure equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Engineering and Shift Management Teams on shift.
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance to ensure production targets and quality.
• Lead continous improvement of asset performance via breakdown analysis and maintenance planning.
