Job summary

Nestlé Tutbury Factory in Derbyshire seeks an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the Engineering team. You will help keep our state-of-the-art coffee production running safely, reliably and for future expansion, across electrical and MES activities.

The role focuses on asset health, project support and continuous improvement to ensure product quality and environmental safety in a major European facility.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering capability applicable to manufacturing environments.
• Experience with electrical systems, safety and compliance in production settings.
• Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering projects and contractors.
• Knowledge of MES/automation and process technology in a factory context.

Responsibilities

• Safe and compliant operations: strengthen electrical, process and equipment safety per standards.
• Reliable factory performance: improve electrical distribution, automation and MES assets for consistent production.
• Capital project delivery: shape practical technical solutions, align requirements, meet quality, timing and budget.
• Standards and governance: maintain technical specs, drawings and control docs with change control.
• Continuous improvement: identify safety, quality, efficiency and maintenance opportunities.
• Capability building: mentor technicians and contractors with clear guidance and training.

NVQ Level 3 + time-served apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering
