Job summary

IntaPeople partners with a growing financial services organisation in Cardiff to recruit an IT Technical & Operations Manager. The role is hybrid, with 3 days onsite, and focuses on owning the technology environment to support growth while keeping systems secure, stable and compliant.

You will manage Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and Azure Active Directory, aligning supplier activities with risk and regulatory standards to enable the business.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day technology operations and lead technical teams.
• Coordinate with managed service providers and vendors to deliver IT infrastructure and security services.
• Ensure systems are secure, stable, and compliant, enabling colleagues to work efficiently.
• Support internal audits, regulatory reviews, and technology governance processes in a regulated environment.
• Oversee identity governance controls (MFA, conditional access) and security tooling.
• Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery readiness, and assist incident response.
