Hungry Horse pub in Aberford is seeking an experienced leader to support the General Manager, lead the floor during peak times and coach a busy team to deliver great hospitality. You’ll drive sales, maintain high standards across service, food and drink, and help with rotas, recruitment and training to develop your staff.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader in a busy pub, restaurant, bar, hotel, retail or similar fast-paced environment.
• Natural leader who can coach and develop people.
• Customer-focused with a passion for great service and business results.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in leading the pub and stand in during absence.
• Lead on the floor during busy services and coach the team.
• Drive sales and maximise opportunities to grow the business.
• Maintain high standards across service, food and drink and the overall pub.
• Assist with rotas, recruitment, training and team development.
• Champion health, safety and brand standards.
• Build strong relationships with the team and local community.
• Create an atmosphere that keeps customers coming back.
