Job summary

Anaplan, a leader in AI-infused planning, seeks a Technical Lead to build and lead our Enterprise Grade AI Platform in Manchester. You will drive the conversational AI, generative and agentic AI roadmap, while remaining hands-on and solving complex technical problems.

You will mentor a team of engineers, own the delivery roadmap, and collaborate with product management to prioritise features, implement best practices, and ensure delivery velocity and quality.

Qualifications

• Engineering leadership in software teams.
• Hands-on experience building AI apps in production.
• Knowledge of LLM APIs and prompt engineering.
• Experience with autonomous agent architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of AI engineers.
• Drive end-to-end development of conversational AI features.
• Oversee agentic AI systems for data analysis and planning workflows.
• Own delivery roadmap and collaborate with product management.
• Establish engineering best practices for AI development.
• Lead planning, design reviews, and retrospectives.
• Translate architectural vision into engineering plans.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI apps.
• Collaborate with platform teams to integrate AI with core infra.
• Communicate progress and decisions to leadership.
