Job summary

Anaplan Inc in Manchester is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to build and guide our Enterprise Grade AI Platform. You will drive the execution of our conversational AI and agentic AI roadmap while mentoring a team of engineers and remaining hands-on when needed.

You will own the delivery plan, collaborate with product management, establish best practices, lead sprint planning, and ensure seamless integration with our core infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5–8 engineers led in AI projects
• Hands-on experience with production AI systems
• Deep knowledge of LLMs, prompts, and agentic patterns
• Experience with RAG, vector databases, semantic search
• Distributed systems and cloud-native architectures

Responsibilities

• Lead the AI engineering team and drive delivery of the platform roadmap
• Own sprint planning, design reviews, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects to translate vision into executable plans
• Build CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks for AI applications
• Communicate progress and technical decisions to senior leadership
