Job summary

Anaplan is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to build and lead our Enterprise Grade AI Platform. You will drive the conversational AI, Generative and agentic AI roadmap, managing a team of engineers while staying hands-on. This role requires exceptional leadership and strong problem-solving skills.

You will lead 5-8 AI engineers, own the delivery roadmap, establish best practices, and collaborate with product management to prioritize features and drive delivery velocity.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software engineering leadership with production AI app experience.
• Strong knowledge of LLM APIs, prompt engineering and AI patterns.
• Proficiency in Python and modern development practices including testing and CI/CD.
• Experience delivering complex AI projects on time with quality.
• Experience mentoring engineers and building cohesive teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of conversational AI features and agentic systems.
• Mentor engineers and grow a high-performance AI team.
• Define and execute the AI roadmap aligned with product goals.
• Establish engineering best practices, testing, evaluation and deployment patterns.
• Collaborate with architects to translate vision into actionable plans.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines and integration with core infrastructure.
• Communicate progress, risks and decisions to leadership.
