Job summary

Anaplan is seeking a hands-on Senior Engineering Manager to build and lead our Enterprise Grade AI Platform. You will drive the conversational AI, Generative and agentic AI roadmap while mentoring a team of engineers.

This role requires exceptional leadership and the ability to roll up your sleeves to solve complex problems, with a proven track record delivering large AI projects on time in fast-moving environments.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading AI/ML engineering teams in production.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and AI systems.
• Deep knowledge of LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and conversational AI.
• Experience with agentic frameworks and autonomous agent architectures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Solid project management with Agile/Scrum practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of AI engineers.
• Drive end-to-end execution of conversational AI features.
• Oversee development of autonomous AI systems for insights and planning.
• Own delivery roadmap with product management.
• Establish engineering best practices for testing, evaluation, deployment.
• Lead sprint planning, design reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with AI Solutions Architects to plan engineering work.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI apps.
• Partner with platform teams to integrate AI features with infrastructure.
