Job summary

JD Gyms is seeking a proactive Gym Manager to lead daily operations, uphold safety and brand standards, and drive membership growth. You will supervise a team, ensure top-tier guest service, and contribute to local marketing efforts within a dynamic leisure facility.

The role requires early mornings, weekends, and strong leadership with a focus on sales performance and facility cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management position within a leisure related industry.
• Passionate about customer service and an inspirational leader.
• Qualified to Level 2 Gym Instructor or higher.
• Experience driving sales and coordinating local marketing while managing a team.
• Experience as Assistant Manager or Fitness Manager is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the gym's operational running, opening and closing the site.
• Work early mornings, late weekdays and weekends.
• Ensure Health and Safety policies and company procedures are followed.
• Maintain JD Gyms Brand Standards.
• Conduct safety checks and report any defects.
• Aim to achieve sales and membership targets.
• Drive secondary spend revenue.
• Ensure cleanliness and manage cleaners and facilities.
• Uphold uniform standards and outstanding member service.
• Foster a positive team environment and ambassadors for JD Gyms.
• Undertake other duties/meetings as required.
• Represent JD Gyms as an ambassador.
