Job summary

JD Gyms is seeking an Assistant General Manager to drive day-to-day club operations, working closely with the General Manager to uphold high standards and deliver exceptional member experiences.

You will lead a team of Fitness Coaches and General Assistants, coach colleagues, support recruitment and development, and help achieve membership and commercial targets while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for all.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing colleagues in leisure, fitness, hospitality or customer-focused environments.
• Strong commitment to delivering excellent member service and leading by example.
• Experience contributing to membership growth and commercial targets.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day club operations.
• Lead a team of Fitness Coaches and General Assistants to ensure daily targets are met.
• Drive member experience, safety, and cleanliness across the club.
• Support recruitment, training and development of staff.
