Job summary

JD Gyms is seeking a proactive Club Manager in the UK to lead a team of Fitness Coaches and General Assistants. You will uphold the JD Gyms Brand Standards, drive memberships and revenue, and ensure safe, clean facilities.

You will recruit and develop staff, deliver exceptional member service, and act as the club ambassador while achieving sales targets and maintaining high standards across operations.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a leisure facility or gym is essential.
• Strong customer service focus and leadership qualities required.
• Proven ability to drive sales and build a productive team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures.
• Maintain JD Gyms Brand Standards across the club.
• Conduct regular safety checks and address defects to keep equipment safe.
• Recruit, manage and motivate Fitness Coaches and General Assistants.
• Lead team meetings and drive daily performance to meet targets.
• Achieve sales and membership targets; maximise secondary spend.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards and oversee banking controls.
• Uphold uniform standards and deliver outstanding member service.
• Act as an ambassador for JD Gyms at all times.
