Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join the front-of-house team. You will be the first contact for customers, greeting them warmly and delivering excellent service at the reception desk.

Responsibilities include handling enquiries, bookings and memberships across in-person, online and phone channels, and operating booking and till systems. You’ll keep the reception area tidy and informative for visitors.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Comfortable handling cash and card payments.
• Able to multitask in a busy environment and stay calm.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all visitors with a smile in a friendly and professional manner.
• Handle enquiries, bookings and memberships face-to-face, online and by phone.
• Accurately operate booking, till and membership systems.
• Provide up-to-date information on centre facilities, classes and promotions.
• Maintain a tidy, inviting reception area and ensure high standards of presentation.
