Job summary

Premier Inn Barnstaple is looking for a friendly Ground Floor Team Member to welcome guests, check them in and help make their stay enjoyable. You may serve breakfast or dinner, answer questions and keep reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best.

No hotel experience is required—if you enjoy helping people and stay calm when busy, we’ll teach you the rest. This is a fixed-term contract through January 2027 with 12 guaranteed hours per week.

Qualifications

• Friendly and helpful, enjoys assisting people.
• Calm under pressure and able to stay organised during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and help them check in.
• Serve breakfast or dinner, including bar work and serving alcohol.
• Answer questions and help solve problems for guests.
• Keep reception, restaurant and public areas clean and welcoming.
• Support teammates across the hotel when busy.
• Ensure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure.
