Job summary

New Bath Hotel & Spa in Matlock Bath is seeking a motivated hotel housekeeping team member. You will help maintain high standards of cleanliness in bedrooms, corridors and public areas, while supporting the Head Housekeeper with daily cleaning and setup of rooms.

We value teamwork, a positive attitude and a commitment to guest satisfaction. You will participate in safety trainings and contribute to a welcoming guest experience in a historic hotel near the Peak District.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel housekeeping or similar environment preferred.
• High standards of cleanliness and efficiency under pressure.
• Ability to follow training and health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness in bedrooms, corridors and public areas.
• Support the Assistant/Head Housekeeper with daily cleaning and setup of rooms.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up to ensure repairs are completed.
• Be courteous and welcoming to all guests and anticipate their needs.
• Log and secure any guest property left behind and help resolve issues as needed.
• Attend all H&S, Fire and Food Safety training and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Complete any other reasonable tasks requested by Line Manager.
