Òran Mór in Glasgow is seeking a versatile hospitality teammate to greet guests, take orders, and ensure a memorable experience across the restaurant, bar, and event spaces. You will support front-of-house and kitchen teams to maintain smooth daily operations and contribute to guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have experience in busy guest service environments, strong communication, and a willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant, café, bar, or busy guest service environment preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with guests.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment without compromising service quality.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Greet and seat guests, provide menus, and guide to tables.
• Record orders accurately and note dietary requirements or special requests.
• Recommend menu and beverage pairings to upsell items.
• Monitor tables for guest satisfaction and handle feedback promptly.
• Deliver meals with high presentation and hygiene standards.
• Set and reset tables and ensure proper stocking of tableware.
• Take and prepare bar orders and drinks per spec.
• Assist in arranging event spaces and function rooms.
• Process payments adhering to till procedures and report discrepancies.
