Òran Mór on Byres Road in Glasgow seeks an experienced bartender to deliver exceptional service and craft classic and innovative drinks in a warm, welcoming setting.

You will manage orders, upsell drinks, and ensure guests have a memorable visit while maintaining bar standards and health & safety compliance. The role involves varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a bartender in fast-paced bar, restaurant or hospitality setting.
• In-depth knowledge of mixology, wine, spirits and craft beers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with guests.

Responsabilités

• Welcome guests, provide menus, and show to tables.
• Record beverage orders accurately and note dietary requirements.
• Suggest pairings and upsell items with strong beverage knowledge.
• Check on tables to ensure guest satisfaction and handle feedback promptly.
• Engage with patrons to answer menu questions and ensure queries are addressed.
