Job summary

Gymbox is seeking a proactive Host team lead to drive outstanding member experience across the club. You will oversee daily operations, ensure gym floor and member areas stay spotless, and keep systems running smoothly while addressing queries and maintenance needs quickly.

You will lead by example to inspire the team, conduct dynamic sales tours, and work with the Club Manager to meet KPIs. A 40-hour week and a competitive bonus are included.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or leading a team in hospitality.
• Background in hospitality or related customer-focused sector.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.
• Able to work as part of a team and use initiative.

Responsibilities

• Coach the front of house team to maintain high service standards.
• Lead the team in handling customer queries with up-to-date knowledge.
• Own daily club standards: checklists, cleanliness, safety checks.
• Manage health and safety tasks, stock take and systems.
• Motivate the team to deliver top member experience and sales tours.
• Coach on delivering sales tours to hit targets per strategy.
• Log and escalate maintenance issues with contractors.
• Support chasing debtors when required.
• Handle extra tasks to support business needs.
