Job summary

The Hoxton, Shoreditch invites a warm, person-centered Receptionist to join our front-of-house team. You will welcome guests, manage check-ins, handle enquiries and coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. Qualifications

• Attitude focused on helping guests and staying calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, helpful presence at all times.
• Manage arrivals and departures and guest check-ins/outs.
• Record guest requests and feedback per SOPs.
• Ensure accurate billing and float handling at the desk.
• Maintain data accuracy in systems and provide daily reports.
• Support night reception tasks in line with SOPs.
• Quotel rates per selling strategy and website.
• Answer phone calls promptly and professionally.
• Monitor guests and property for safety and security.
• Report maintenance issues and verify repairs.
• Collaborate with hotel teams and partners for guest satisfaction.
• Keep reception area tidy and presentable.
