Soho House is seeking a Receptionist to be the first point of contact for members and guests, delivering seamless front-of-house service. The role emphasizes discretion, efficiency, and elegance, contributing to an exceptional welcome from the moment guests arrive.

The successful candidate will have 2–3 years' front desk experience in luxury hospitality or private members clubs, strong communication, and proficient reservation system skills (Opera/OpenTable).

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in a front desk role.
• Experience in luxury hospitality or private members clubs.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in reservation systems (e.g., Opera, Open Table, or equivalent).
• Calm under pressure with a guest-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests by name where possible.
• Answer high-volume calls for reservations, inquiries, and deliveries.
• Maintain knowledge of menus, hours, and amenities.
• Keep reception area clean, sanitary, and organized.
• Assist with Guest List duties on the floor or Rooftop.
• Resolve guest issues and communicate feedback to management.
• Assist with coat checks and item retrievals.
• Foster a welcoming, professional atmosphere.
