Soho House & Co is seeking a Head Receptionist to lead the front desk team, delivering warm, professional greetings and ensuring seamless operations for members, guests, and visitors. As the first point of contact, you set the tone for outstanding service and oversee reception activities across reservations, inquiries, and guest relations.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in a receptionist/front-of-house role within a premium hospitality environment.
• Experience in luxury hospitality or private members clubs.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Proficient in reservation systems (Opera, OpenTable, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the reception team in delivering consistent, high-quality service.
• Answer high-volume phone lines and calls for reservations, inquiries, and deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe reception area and desk.
• Prepare daily reports and handovers for management, noting service or operational issues.
• Build relationships with members and guests and communicate feedback to management.
• Train and onboard new reception team members and conduct refresher sessions.
• Monitor bookings, membership database, and ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee shift rotas, task delegation, and team communication.
