Job summary

Slazenger Padel Clubs in Swindon seeks a Front of House Host to welcome members and guests, manage bookings, and support the daily club operations. You will ensure a warm, professional welcome and handle enquiries across telephone, email, and in person.

You will assist with memberships, retail sales, and event promotions, while helping maintain cleanliness and safety. The role offers opportunities for training and career development within a fast-growing sport.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or reception experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive, proactive, and professional attitude.
• Comfortable using booking systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience in leisure, fitness, hospitality, or sports environment.
• Knowledge or passion for padel, tennis, or racket sports.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members, guests and visitors to the club.
• Assist with bookings, enquiries and memberships.
• Maintain high presentation standards across the venue.
• Help with daily operational administration tasks.
• Carry out opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed.
• Support stock management for retail and supplies.
• Encourage member participation in events and programs.
