Job summary

Social Sports Society is seeking a Club Host in Bristol to support daily operations and deliver quality Padel tuition under the Coaching & Management team. You will activate sessions for beginners and help run club sessions, open days and competitions while keeping customers as a priority.

Qualifications

• Ideally previous experience in a sport or hospitality setting.
• High personal presentation standards.
• Willingness to train as activator & Padel Coach.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with customers and potential customers.
• Ensure the efficient operation of sessions, including equipment set-up and take-down.
• Undertake basic club maintenance.
• Maintain the equipment and courts to high standards, reporting faults or repairs.
• Work alongside the F&B team to serve members.
• Undertake sessions according to the timetable and ensure classes start on time.
• Manage customer behaviour to ensure safety and enjoyment.

Job description

As a Club Host, you will play a key role in the daily operations and delivery of quality Padel tuition under the guidance of our Coaching & Management team. You will help activate sessions for beginners and eventually run club sessions and assist in running open days & competitions. Always putting our customers first.

Responsibilities for this role include(but are not limited to):

• Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with our customers and potential customers.
• Ensuring the efficient and effective operation of sessions, including equipment set-up and take-down.
• Undertake basic club maintenance.
• Maintain the equipment and courts, to the highest possible standards, bringing attention to any faults or repairs to the relevant team.
• Work alongside the F&B team to serve members.
• Undertaking sessions according to the programme timetable and ensuring classes commence at the designated times.
• Proactively manage customer behaviour during the use of facilities to ensure highest possible levels of safety and enjoyment.
