Job summary

Accor through Novotel York Centre is seeking a Front Office Associate to deliver warm, personalised service at check-in/out and manage guest requests. You will promote hotel facilities and loyalty memberships while ensuring payments are processed accurately and guest satisfaction remains high.

The role requires fluency in English and previous hospitality experience; familiarity with Opera is preferred. You will join a team focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences in a busy hotel

Qualifications

• Experience working in the hospitality environment or similar.
• Knowledge and experience of Opera.
• Good knowledge of IT and systems or the ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet, check-in, respond to requests and settle accounts.
• Upsell and promote hotel facilities to guests.
• Handle payments and communicate with guests by email and phone.
• Enrol guests to Accor Loyalty Membership.
• Communicate with guests by emails and on the phone.
• Be willing to work morning or afternoon shifts as needed.
• Ensure smooth handover and liaise with all departments; resolve issues according to Accor standards.
