Job summary

Oxford Innovation Space is seeking a Customer Experience Assistant to join our vibrant team at Vulcan Works. You will be the first and last point of contact for visitors, delivering warm, professional service and handling reception duties, calls, emails, and bookings.

You’ll also support events, community activities, and social media updates while helping maintain a well-run centre. If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and great with people, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, people-focused approach with proactive attitude.
• Strong IT skills and quick system onboarding.
• Experience in marketing and/or social media.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and manage a warm, professional reception.
• Handle calls, emails, post and meeting room bookings.
• Support events and community engagement activities.
• Provide daily and monthly social media and marketing updates.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and shared spaces to keep the centre running smoothly.
• Set up and refresh meeting rooms as needed.
• Assist with customer requests, e.g., couriers or local recommendations.
• Provide backup support to the Centre Manager and Assistant Centre Manager.
