Job summary

John Lewis Partnership’s Leckford Estate is seeking a Hotel Leisure Assistant to deliver high-standard guest service, handle payments, and support multiple hotel departments. The role includes night premium for late shifts and part-time hours across varied shift patterns.

As a brand ambassador, you will resolve guest queries, share product knowledge, and uphold health and safety standards while contributing to a positive guest experience and hotel operation.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and industrious with a natural flair for guest service.
• Basic knowledge of IT & POS systems and able to use standard software.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be a brand ambassador by providing a consistently outstanding guest experience.
• Resolve guest queries/complaints at the first point of contact.
• Interact with guests and share product knowledge.
• Handle payments in accordance with hotel standards.
• Support changes to ensure continuous improvements within the department.
• Carry out cleaning duties in the departments.
• Ensure safe use of tools, chemicals and PPE.
• Support other areas of the hotel operation when required.
• Take direction from Team Leader and Hotel leadership while maintaining health & safety standards.
