Job summary

Hilton in Birmingham city centre is seeking a Guest Service Assistant/Receptionist on a 16 hour contract. You will welcome guests, check them in/out and handle enquiries with warmth and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel reception or guest-facing roles is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with guests and team members.

• Team player willing to help keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests on arrival and provide a warm, efficient check-in/out.
• Handle guest enquiries, requests and reservations with care.
• Provide information about the hotel and local area to guests.
• Manage reception calls, emails and day-to-day admin tasks.
• Handle payments, billing and cash in line with procedures.
• Prepare and serve drinks at the bar and assist with breakfast service.
• Help keep reception, bar and kitchen areas clean and tidy.
• Follow all hotel, food safety and health and safety procedures.
• Go the extra mile for special requests to make stays memorable.
