Job summary

Hampton by Hilton Blackburn is seeking a friendly Guest Service Assistant to join our team at the Front Office and lounge areas. You will welcome guests, support check-ins, and help ensure a memorable stay with local information and attentive service.

No prior hospitality experience is required; a positive, professional attitude and good communication skills are valued. You will work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for training and development, including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or front office is advantageous
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to stay calm and professional in busy environments
• Friendly, proactive and team-focused attitude
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and create a positive first impression
• Assist with check-ins, check-outs and reservations
• Provide information about the hotel and local area
• Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns
• Support front office and overall hotel operations
• Process guest payments and maintain records
• Keep public areas clean and welcoming
• Support revenue opportunities through upselling of services
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional guest experiences
