Job summary

Scotsman Hospitality is seeking a proactive hospitality team member to be the face of our venues, working across restaurant, bar and event spaces. You will support both front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth daily operations and a memorable guest experience.

You'll greet guests, take orders, recommend menu items and manage table service with care. The role requires flexibility to work varied shifts and contribute to high-quality service across multiple outlets within our hospitality

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant, café, bar or busy guest service environment is highly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, provide menus, and guide them to tables.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and note dietary needs.
• Recommend menu items and upsell where possible to enhance guest experience.
• Check on tables to ensure satisfaction and handle feedback professionally.
• Deliver food from the kitchen with quality presentation and hygiene.
• Set and reset tables quickly; ensure proper tableware and condiments.
• Take drinks orders and prepare beverages per specifications.
• Assist with event setup in function rooms before guest arrivals.
• Process payments via till, including cash and cards, following procedures.
