Job summary

Scotsman Group is seeking an experienced bartender to be the face of our bar, crafting classic cocktails and inventive drinks while delivering a warm, welcoming experience for guests. This role offers opportunities to develop skills across service, hospitality and teamwork.

You will greet guests, take orders, upsell with confident knowledge of wine, spirits and craft beers, maintain bar cleanliness, handle payments, and uphold health and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fast-paced venues.
• In-depth knowledge of mixology, wines, spirits and craft beers.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while delivering quality service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus, and seat them.
• Record beverage orders accurately and note dietary requirements.
• Suggest pairings and upsell with confident knowledge of wine, spirits and craft beers.
• Prepare and serve a wide variety of drinks following recipes and guest preferences.
• Handle payments and till procedures correctly and report discrepancies.
• Monitor stock, restock supplies and manage bar inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness in bar and back-of-house areas.
• Adhere to health, safety and licensing regulations.
