Job summary

Glasgow Marriott Hotel is seeking a friendly F&B Associate to join our vibrant team for a part-time 15-hour schedule. You’ll welcome guests, take and deliver orders, and communicate dietary needs to the kitchen while maintaining a clean, inviting dining area.

You’ll handle payments with MICROS or similar POS systems and uphold food safety and responsible alcohol service standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, multitasking, and delivering a memorable guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in bar, restaurant, or customer service roles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident handling payments and using POS systems
• Positive, professional, and reliable approach
• Able to multitask and adapt quickly to guest needs

Responsibilities

• Welcome every guest with a genuine smile and friendly attitude
• Take and deliver orders accurately and efficiently
• Communicate dietary needs, allergies, or preferences to the kitchen
• Keep bar and dining areas clean, organised, and inviting
• Process payments using MICROS or similar POS systems
• Follow food safety and responsible alcohol service standards
• Support closing duties and restocking as needed
• Collaborate with teammates to deliver an outstanding guest experience
• Take on additional tasks to keep operations running smoothly
