Job summary

WPP Enterprise Solutions seeks a Growth Group Director, a senior operator focused on moving live opportunities forward and giving early signals the structure and commercial credibility they need to become real ES pursuits. You will be client-facing, shaping work and developing opportunity narratives with MDs, EDs, GCLs, and partner teams.

Qualifications

• You typically bring 10 to 12 or more years of experience across strategic account management, growth, consulting, technology transformation, digital transformation, client services, business development, enterprise sales, media, creative, data, CRM, commerce or CX.
• Direct experience supporting or leading client conversations, opportunity qualification, discovery, proposal development, pitch preparation or pursuit acceleration.
• Understanding large organisations identify, fund and buy transformation; practical, real client experience.
• Ability to move across complex internal organisations and coordinate multiple capabilities around one client opportunity.
• Background in a consulting firm, agency network, technology business, systems integrator or enterprise client environment is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Find & Filter: Identify ES growth signals across priority accounts and opportunities; assess client need, ES relevance, value, urgency, winnability and next actions; develop briefs and narratives for senior leaders.
• Shape & Accelerate: Support discovery meetings and pitch prep; apply capabilities across media, CRM, data, AI, platforms to add value; coordinate with delivery teams to clarify activation path.
• Clarify & Build: Turn ambiguous inputs into clear, high-quality materials; capture patterns and proof points to sharpen the growth system; maintain current view of value, stage, and next actions.
